Brief History of the HFA
The Howes Family Association was founded just after first reunion in Dennis MA on 26 Sep 1987 by Colonel Lewis L Howes. Lew was HFA first president and editor of the HFA Newsletter for the first 13 years. The HFA has a board of directors. Many Family Documents have been donated to Dennis Memorial Library, Dennis, MA. Furniture, clothing, and other personal items have been donated to Dennis Historical Society, Dennis MA.
